Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played her role for seven seasons on AMC's historical drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The show received wide acclaim from critics as well as nominations for 6 Emmy awards in the category of best supporting actress. From her career to now which spans over two decades, she's become known for her work on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama show Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her performance is noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice can be heard in animation films like Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. Prior to that, she started her career as a model. She continued to work in that field for quite a duration before making an acting debut in television on the series anthology Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. In the drama-comedy show Beggars and Choosers, her first major role was played. Then she received praise for her performance in Firefly.
